OK, ok
OK it was more than about the time to write a new post. But these days I was kind of busy and I wanted to do it right (even if I should work on my class right now!)
So since the last time, I finally went Tree Hunting for my ChrisTmas tree! It was a perfect day, snow, cold enough to not melt, and warm enough to not over-freeze. We had 3 trees to pick, I found mine first.
So the ‘technique’ (said with a french accent) Is that you first spot a tree. no matter the size you can cut it at 6 foot or so. (well not any size, you don’t want to climb the thing juste because you like the top of it!) Then you go around to see all the angles, if there’s a hole of branches somewhere or it got an sloppy look. Then if it pass that test you then choose a appointed volunter to shake the snow off. Obviously it’s the french girl who did the dirty work! I was the most well-dressed for the task and I didn’t mind at all.
Then if the tree seems perfect naked, it should be great decorated!
As I was saying, I found mine first, cut it down like nothing then draged it for 8 miles to the truck…almost 8…we saw a teen-moose on our way, cute!

The final result!
After that we went in the hot tub wich was soo relaxing! A great day.
That was friday. Saturday I served at a community Christmas dinner. It was good for me to do something physical with alot of people. I need that sometimes.
Then Last night with our homegroup we had a mexican theme Christmas dinner! YUMMY! I made Guacamole, we ate Ninja-ladas (don’t know how to spell that and I prefer to imagine a ninja in there!), and taco salad, nachos, rice ect. I ate just enough to not feel over-full!
I put some gifts under the tree. Gifts to give, 2 of them is for Gabe
I’m so exited to think that she’s gonna be there. Hopefully she will feel confortable and welcomed. It’s gonna be great!
Since tonight is a french class night, I should get on it, don’t you think?
