How I turned out to become a Zombie…

Yesterday I was playing Zombie with the kids at the after-school program, and I was fleeing from one. The goal of the game is to not touch the ground and not being touched by a zombie. You have 3 lifes, when your done you become one until you turn someone else in a zombie. As I was saying, a kid was chasing me and I went on the slide to lend on my knee real’hard. I really don’t know how I did that but it hurted longer then a simple bruise. I was done. So I sent a someone to go outside with the kids instead of me. Anyways, nothing too bad, but I still have a hard time to go down the stairs.

For the weekend we’re going housiting the log home again. Friday to Monday. It’s Dustin’s birthday Saturday and he doesn’t want much, so it’s gonna be perfect to have a calm weekend together. Then after that, he’s bringing me somewhere for our first anniversary. It’s so cool that the spring break is in the same time because he has 2 weeks of vacation! I’m exited for that!

The church has a project to start a discipleship school probably in the fall. Students would be sheltered in people’s home, they would have chores to do, worship in the morning class in the afternoon. Some days they would go out and help people, do reach out or work. They would help at church, cleaning, sunday school, youth, music, soundboard, ect.
The school’s aim would be to form their character more than their gifts. Working the heart more than the abilities. Dustin and I have been approach to considerate being directors, since we both worked or taught in a bible school, and that we both have a heart for the healty growing of young christians.
I share that with you to ask for your prayer. Wisdom for the elders that are deciding to start in the fall or not, knowlegde for us as we prepare ourselves for the coming year, and open-hearts for people from the church who are called to welcome a kid for 8-9 months. Thanks
