Rasta pô-poulosse!

The house we’re staying is really big. It’s a gorgeous log home a bear’s skin on the wall! It’s about 10 minutes out of 100 Mile and I love it, so calm out here. During our stay, I plan on reading alot.

For those who know my friend Lydia, well I’m convincing her to come to BC. And it looks like everything fall in place! That would be really cool, to have her here. And she can see a little more of the country! I know she wants to travel the world, she can start with BC! haha.
Sometimes I wish I could bring my family and friends here. Just because I miss them. I’ll do the opposite this summer, I guess it’s easier!

So Friday I help Courtenay with her sister Roxy to finalize the cake for Emily’s birthday party. We had so much fun. It was a fondant icing, Marianne, you already master the skills of cakes! But I realized how easy it is to do that fondant. Melt Marshmallow with a little water, blend in icing sugar (lots) until it makes a daugh. Then you can do whatever you want!
We were like kids playing, until 1;30 in the morning, but it was worth it, see for yourself!

Dustin and I are now in a soft ball team (slow pitch). We praticed sunday, and our games are gonna be in the week evenings. It’s not the most exiting sport ever, but I enjoy batting and throwing. And it’s not really complicated to understand. Because everyone speaks english, it’s harder for me to get everything right away. But softball is pretty simple.

Oh I have a picture from our membership (the bright sunday)

Haha! At first Dustin wasn’t wearing that, but he told Liam (guitarist) that if he chose something from the bright costumes, he will also wear this thing! I just love what Liam chose!

Un pet de loup

Then it was my turn to become sick. Yeah! It’s been awhile since I threw up, so it happened twice sunday, just after the shower party.
And this week I felt kinda weak everyday, ending my days with the feeling of nausea or hunger, I don’t know.
These days I’ve been helping my friend Courtenay with her daughter’s Birthday. Emily turned 2 this week, but she’s going to have 2 parties this weekend. The Theme is ladybuggy! So we painted black dots everywhere, and this morning we were starrting to cook the cake.

I had lunch with a girl from Scotland, and now I should be preparing our luggages. We’re leaving today for housitting. I’m really exited for that.

Oh I was walking today and saw un pet de loup on the ground, so I squeezed it and it didn’t smell anything. haha.

You will have to read this book.

ok, so as you have not read this week, there’s nothing new for us. Dustin got sick this week and missed one day at school. I’m doing just fine.
Today is saturday, Rick and Marci will be back from…I don’t know, a conference? I was cleaning yesterday.

THere’s a baby shower sunday, and it’s our homegroup that organize it, because we’re ‘younger’, like we have 3 couples with a small family. Anyway. It ends up that Danielle (a friend my age with no baby) and I are picking up stuff, and preparing the place for sunday! I am so weird. They asked me if I could organize it with Danielle (Courtenay, you weren’t there when Nathania asked us, and everybody is sick right now)
So I said: Absolutely, I will help!
Am I not full of generosity?!? (thanks Dad, you thaught me that)
I accepted the task without knowing what it would be like and I never even went to a baby shower myself! haha. Ok I admit The language I show love is with service. I don’t complain, because there isn’t much to prepare, and we’ve got help with food and stuff.

Next Thursday, Dustin and I are housitting for 2 weeks and a half at a big loghome. It’s actually where we have our homegroup every week. So we’ll have a big’ol dog and a cat to take care of!

I am reading this book called: The Shack by William … something, I just can’t find the book right now. And it’s quite a shocking story. I won’t tell much, but it’s a family who loses their youngest daughter on a camping trip, in a horrible way. So the father keeps this bitterness towards God. And one day he receives a note from ‘Papa’ (the favourite name of his wife for God) telling him to go back to this shack in the woods. I won’t tell more, you just have to read it. I’m half way through, and it strucked me already. Oh I will have to tell you anyway when I’m done reading it, but it’s a true story and it reveals the persons of God in a way I never imagined.

I got to find it now, it seems it just disapeered. (and it’s not my book!) And I’m hungry too.
